Fizik has launched a line of three new handlebars named in line with their saddles: The Snake, The Chameleon and The Bull. Ranging from being designed for a more flexible racer (The Snake) to a less stretchy rider (The Bull), Fizik is confident that they have a handlebar to fit every shape—and with three versions, an alloy and two carbon models, they also have different price points for rider’s varying incomes.
Adam Bookwalter, the North America Area Manager, explained, “The three shapes represent three levels of flexibility, so for example, the Snake bar has the deepest drop and the longest reach, so it’s designed for the most flexible rider. The Bull bar, by comparison, has a very shallow drop and shorter reach.”
The MSRPs for the handlebars run between $100 for the lower-end alloy version (R3) to $300 for the mid-range, albeit a pricey one, (R1) and $400 for the lightest of the bunch (00).
Also introduced for this season were some community-voted designs on their saddles. “The community voted on 50 different designs, and on display are the winners,” Bookwalter explained.
