Feedback Sports, known for their work stands and bike scales, acquired the SportCrafters roller trainer design. We reviewed one for Issue 24, and you can get a backcopy here, and this is what our reviewer had to say: “…the Omnium was the most enjoyable experience I’ve had riding indoors since my marathon roller sessions back in college. The Omnium rides somewhat like a cross between a fluid trainer and standard size rollers.”

Smartly, Feedback kept the best part of the SportCrafters portable roller trainer which is the internal magnetic roller resistance mechanism they call IPR, Internal Progressive Resistance cooled by the vented roller side plates.

Feedback then applied their know-how to lighten the frame and leg mechanism at the front of the trainer, adding in thru-axle compatibility, including both 15mm and 12mm standards as well as 100mm or 110mm width standards. The assembly process was also streamlined and simplified, while keeping the same stable bipod.

The Feedback sports Ominum trainer is a 13.8 pound package that folds in seconds to fit into the included duffle bag for easy transport to the race start for pre-race warm up and post race cool down. CrossVegas 2016 World Cup third place finisher Sanne Cant was seen warming up for her race aboard her Stevens bike mounted to the Feedback Sports Omnium.
