Every Friday, we’ll be highlighting a great new video, photo or forum topic related to cyclocross. Have a suggestion? Let us know in the comments or by emailing molly [at] cxmagazine.com
This week, our feature video shows a sneak peak at the Bilenky Junkyard Cross short film, part of the 2011 Bicycle Film Festival short film program. It was posted by CXhairs, who runs the site In the Crosshairs: Putting The CX Podium On The Hot Seat. For those who haven’t heard of it, Junkyard Cross is exactly what it sounds like: a cyclocross race in a junkyard, where the obstacles include lines of cars, a giant flyover and a seesaw. It’s held in Philadelphia, typically in December, and it is truly one of the most fun races to go to even if you’re just there to watch and hang out.
If you’re in New York City and want to check out the full version of the Bilenky Junkyard Cross short film, check out the Bicycle Film Festival website.
