It wasn't just new bikes at 2016 Bike Press Camp but also new gear, including a new expanded product range from Fabric.

UK-based Fabric took charge, pun intended, in 2014 after spinning off from Nick Larsen's Charge Bikes, where Fabric's simple saddle designs combined with customization options first took shape. Now, the innovative company has expanded its reach beyond saddles.

Fabric's new products include numerous tools. There's a slick, portable ratchet called the Chamber as well as six, eight and 16 bit multitools called, fittingly, the Six Tool, Eight Tool and Sixteen Tool, each with more functionality than the prior model.

There's also a chaintool that can spread stiff links that also has a double-sided, press-fit pin in case you bend the tool's pin. And there are four new portable pumps, two each for either higher volume or higher pressure, each with a hose that stores in the pumps' bodies, much like Lezyne's offerings. And there are two floor pumps on the way from Fabric as well.

Fabric now has lights. This FL300 light has a dial to switch between modes, 300 lumen headlamp mode and flashing LED strip. The LED strip can turn the headlight into a tail light. $60. There are also FL30, 150 and 500 Lumens models. Press Camp 2016. © Cyclocross Magazine

If you want to see how far Fabric is going, they are also offering a number of USB-rechargable lights. There are 30, 150, 300 and 500 lumen models, each with various modes. And there's Silicone bar tape that can be stretched thin or run a bit looser to offer more cushion. Of course, Fabric still does saddles, and they recently expanded their line of seats as we saw at the 2016 Sea Otter Classic.
