Saturday featured a full day of UCI racing at the US Open of Cyclocross at Valmont Bike Park in Boulder.
In the Women’s race, mountain biker Erin Huck (Cannondale 3Rox) crashed the cyclocross party in her first ’cross race of the season. Huck won Mountain Bike Short Track Nationals and finished third at the US Open of Cyclocross in 2016, so she was prepared to ride on the course that included some of Valmont’s mountain bike features.

Jamey Driscoll (Donnelly Cycling) picked up his first UCI win of the 2017/18 season in the Men’s race. Gage Hecht (Alpha Bicycle Co. – Groove Subaru) took the win in the Men’s U23 race.
