Back for its seventh year, Geoff Proctor’s EuroCrossCamp has returned to Izegem, Belgium with eighteen riders to compete against the world’s best. Only a few days into the first week, the Camp already boasts two podium finishes from Junior Yannick Eckmann and newly crowned U23 National Champion Danny Summerhill, who has matured with the camp over the last four seasons. CXM's embedded reporter, Nathan Phillips

Beginning on the 26th of December after the Zolder World Cup, Cyclocross Magazine provides embedded coverage of EuroCrossCamp through the New Year in Baal. Each day brings a different report on various areas of camp life as seen from a journalist on the inside. Covering everything from bikes and gear to interviews with riders, our goal is to bring an honest and straightforward look into what makes the Camp a success. Supplementing each report will be constant Twitter updates from http://twitter.com/cyclocross.

A quick biography about myself: I am a Junior at Montana State University studying English Literature and German Language, and a member of the MSU collegiate cycling team. A year abroad at a German university has provided me the opportunity to work in conjunction with Cyclocross Magazine and EuroCrossCamp to put together a project covering the true work that goes into making each day in Europe a reality for these Americans.

So get set for a week of racing and cyclocross fun coming straight to you from Belgium starting just after Christmas. If you’re interested in something in particular, drop me a comment below. Happy Holidays!
