Showing once more that the future of U.S. cyclocross is bright, Curtis White (Cannondale p/b Cyclocrossworld.com) took the holeshot at Flandriencross, the third race of the BPost Bank Trofee series, and finished up in eighth place.
With White driving the pace at the front, he was quickly joined by a contingent of Belgian Telenet-Fidea racers, including race winner Eli Iserbyt, second-place finisher Daan Soete and Nicolas Cleppe—who would finish in third.

This was the second top ten this season for an American U23 in Europe, as Logan Owen finished ninth at the World Cup at Koksijde.
