unnamedThe massive flooding in the Boulder-Lyons area last September destroyed most of the town and surrounding roads in the Jamestown area.  This mountain community has long been the most popular destination for cyclists up and down the Colorado Front Range.  On any given weekend day in summer over 2,000 cyclists make the 27-mile round trip.  But, this is more than just the loss of a great cycling route.  Many families in the Jamestown area are still being affected by this  horrible disaster.

Cyclists for Jamestown(www.C4Jtown.org) is organizing a fundraising event during this week’s US National Cyclocross Championships to benefit the Jamestown Community Fund. The Kitchen Next Door in downtown Boulder will host
the event on Saturday, January 11th.  Doors open at 4pm. All monetary donations will be accepted.

What: An evening of dining to raise money and awareness for the Jamestown Community Fund
Where: At the Kitchen Next Door downtown Boulder
When: Saturday January 11th  4:00 PM till Close
Donation: No minimum.  All net proceeds will be donated

Come enjoy a dinner and beer tasting evening with friends while the national cycling spotlight is on Boulder. Our purpose – to raise funds for the Greater Jamestown Community Fund which supports directly those most impacted by the traumatic floods this past fall.
