Anytime cyclocross makes mainstream television, we’re excited—in particular, when it has the potential to increase the crowd at a race next season.
Crossing Vegas is a half-hour special about Cross Vegas. It’s a behind the scenes look at the men and women who put the race on and about Charles McDonald’s journey to Las Vegas, to take on the course, the Vegas heat and what people might call his handicap… racing with one arm. The special was produced by KCLV videographer Eric Sorenson for KCLV-TV Las Vegas.
It features a look back at the history of ’cross, and some race footage from the Elite race that Sven Nys won last year, but it primarily focuses on McDonald.
