The 2019 Cyclocross World Championships course in Bogense, Denmark has gone through a few changes since its 2017 UCI World Cup iteration.

We’ve documented the course through words, photos and videos here but sometimes a POV camera view helps bring the sounds and bumps to your screens in a way that words can’t.

Thankfully, Kerry Werner on Kona/Maxxis/Shimano took us for a course pre-ride, behind National Champ Stephen Hyde.

Thanks to Werner’s video, you get a sense of how flat and then unflat the course is, how many bridges and flyovers the racers need to tackle, and how bumpy the course currently is due to the frozen ground.

You’re also rewarded with some earnest commentary and conversation between the two friends and competitors as they make their way through the Worlds course. Enjoy.
