Yesterday, the grand celebration of Milton Keynes was followed up by the National Trophy Series #4, a C2 race taking place at the same venue. Marcel Wildhaber, a 29-year-old from Switzerland, took first in the Men’s Elite Race, beating David van der Poel at the line.
Good news for the Jonathan Page fans out there: his top American performance in the World Cup appears to be the forming rule rather than the exception. He followed his great Saturday ride by landing on the podium for third. This season, the multiple American National Champion has struggled against the domestic fields. These latest developments could mean that Page is now getting into form at the right time.

Katie Compton lost Saturday’s World Cup at the line against Sanne Cant, but she was motivated for a follow up win on Sunday: she beat the rest of the field by well over a minute at Milton Keynes.
Christine Majerus of Luxembourg soloed in for second place, while Karen Verhestraeten of Belgium took third.
