The top three from the Yanqing Station race of the Qiansen Trophy kept hold of their podium honor at the second race in Fengtai Changxindian, only this time, the top two racers swapped positions, racing without the late-race suspense we saw on Wednesday.
Dutch racer Ceylin Alvarado, after coming up just short against American Emily Kachorek on Wednesday, avoided a last lap rematch today. Alvarado attacked mid-race and finished with a comfortable, half minute advantage. Dutch racer Bianca van den Hoek won a tight race for fourth over Australian Naomi Williams for her second podium finish in a row.
Four of seven American women finished in the top 15, with Chelsea Weidinger and Campbell Steers finishing in 13th and 14th. Sarah Lukas and Sarah Ginsbach finished in 21st and 23rd, while Christine Vardaros did not finish.
