OK, I might be spoiled by the super-vibrant Portland ‘cross scene, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the more “buttoned-up” racing in New England, have played in the New Mexican high-alpine cyclocross desert and even visited some of the burgeoning southeast’s races – but clearly it’s time that I plan a swing through Chicago this coming fall. And if this highlight video is to be believed, it doesn’t even look cold. Or windy. Just sandy, energetic and fun!
