Échappé Equipment is excited to announce the 2009 Cyclocross Season Pass program. The season pass starts at $200 and is eligible for 5 days of non-consecutive use, anywhere in the continental United States. The Échappé season pass gives athletes access to carbon tubular and tubeless race wheels from Shimano, Bontrager, Revolution Wheelworks, HED, American Classic, Échappé Equipment and Zipp. Additional days can be purchased and are available through Echappe’s Day Pass Program page.
Echappe Equipment is now carrying Revolution Wheelworks Rev-50X, a hand built carbon tubular wheel from Philadelphia, PA. This wheel is specially designed for Cyclocross and is priced specifically for the Cyclocross athlete at $50/rental or $960 retail. Athletes who demo this wheelset from Échappé can rent to buy the demo inventory or earn a $50 credit towards a new purchase of REV-50X wheels.
Échappé will also hand build alloy tubulars utilizing American Classic Micro hubs. Prices start at $50 for rental. Customers can also choose to have wheelsets built specifically for their needs (sales only) using either American Classic hubs or Shimano hubs. Prices start at $675.
For the Tubeless fans, Échappé is offering the Shimano 7850-SL tubeless wheelset. Starting at $75/rental, check out what the tubeless fuss is all about without experimenting with your own equipment.
All race wheels come ready with Challenge Grifo or Fango tires (Hutchison for tubeless) and glued by Échappé Equipment. All deep carbon wheels are fitted with Tufo Core Extenders for complete tire pressure control to suit the needs of the athlete on any course. Échappé Equipment is entering its second year of supporting the Cyclocross scene with representatives in New England, Mid-Atlantic, Mid-West, Southeast and California. Athletes are welcome to pick up their wheel rentals from these representatives at their weekly races depending upon availability. Rentals are not limited to these regions with shipping available by FedEx to anywhere in the continental US.
Échappé Equipment is a “rent to own” program and every wheelset is also available for purchase. Each athlete who rents wheels earns 20% of their rental fee towards a future purchase with Échappé Equipment.
