We don't profess to be experts in hydration packs, but they're certainly becoming increasing relevant to our readership as long gravel races continue to grow in popularity, and of course many of us ride fatter tires in the offseason and need more hydration than what a water bottle or two can carry.
At the 2016 Press Camp, CamelBak impressed with a slew of new hydration products and refinements of existing models. From a collapsible bottle that will compete with Platypus' Softbottle for bottle cage-less cyclists' jersey pockets in the fall, to new lifestyle pre and post-race hydration options and updated bladders, CamelBak has the following new products coming this fall. CamelBak changed the fill port on its new Antidote bladders. The size is the same, but it doesn’t need to be lined up to be threaded closed, closes in a quarter turn, and now folds open and stays open for easy ice and water filling. Press Camp 2016. © Cyclocross Magazine
