Many of North America’s best are in town for the Deschutes Brewery Cup, and Kona legend Barry Wick has opened his house up for them to stay, race, and enjoy all of what Bend has to offer. Among the crew is freshly minted Canadian National Champion Geoff Kabush, who is en route to one of his best weekends of the season. After a truly impressive silver medal ride in Saturday’s below-freezing temperatures, Kabush follows it up with the victory in Sunday’s Cross Crusade finale at the same venue. Following a long weekend of racing, it’s off to enjoy some of Bend’s other outdoor offerings, and experience what has made this crew one of the most decorated group of riders in cycling history.
