We’re proud to announce two new cyclocross babies today that have been many months in the making! Our founder and Chief Lackey Andrew Yee has been hard at work (with a ton of help) behind the scenes lately growing these two little ones.
The first one was born today and you’re already looking at it – our new and improved Cyclocross Magazine website right here in “beta” form at cxmagazine.com. The new site is designed to offer much easier and quicker access to our expansive library of content through our new two-level navigation that provides prominent visibility to all categories of content. Stay tuned as we continue to improve the new design and features (and fine tune it). Find a bug or have a feature request? Let us know here.
The second cyclocross baby was born a week ago on October 4, 2010 at 1:01 a.m. and arrived at 8 pounds, 6 ounces and 21 inches long. Andrew and his wife welcome Kai Duncan Yee into the crazy world of ’cross and Cyclocross Magazine. Andrew says taking care of Kai has been “challenging and fun.” “It’s not that different than cyclocross for me,” he said. “I’m trying to navigate wet and sloppy conditions and strive to keep the air pressure low. There’s a ton of enthusiastic screaming, and when it’s over, I try to recover between the hard efforts despite little sleep.”
