LOENHOUT, Belgium—Today’s sixth round of the Bpost Bank Trofee in Loenhout, Belgium was a break out performance of sorts for the American Junior Men.
Continuing their streak of fine racing Spencer Petrov and Gage Hecht patrolled the front of the race. Petrov, having led the race at two laps to go, finished in second in a three-up sprint behind Thijs Wolsink of The Netherlands and ahead of Jari de Clercq of Belgium, the group coming in at 39:50.

Hecht wound up in fifth, 14 seconds off the leaders with teammate Eric Brunner on his wheel in sixth. Denzel Stephenson made it into the top ten as well with an eighth place finish.
Rounding out the top 15 were Cameron Beard in 14th and Evan Clouse in 15th. Michael Owens was 32nd while Noah Barrow was 35th.
