Ceylin Alvarado (Alpecin-Fenix), Lucinda Brand (Baloise Trek Lions) and Denise Betsema (Pauwels Sauzen-Bingoal) fought for the victory at GP Sven Nys.

The three were inseparable early on into the race but, when Lucinda Brand began picking up her pace, Alvarado was able to keep up but Betsema was left in the dust.
Alvarado later overtook Brand and ended the race with a victory.

Alvarado came in first, Brand second and Betsema third.
As for Americans, Clara Honsinger came in 7th, Maddie Munro (Trek Factory Racing) 15th, Katie Compton 17th and Kaitie Keough 18th.
Canadians Maghalie Rochette, Sidney McGill and Siobhan Kelly also made appearances at the event, coming in 12th, 21st and 30th respectively.
