2022 X²O Badkamers Trofee Herentals was a good one, especially with fans allowed on site. The big hills tested the rider’s climbing and endurance as the sharp turns tested the rider’s precision. Though the mud was not as thick or slippery, it made turning difficult at the sharp corners.
Lucinda Brand took another victory at the 2022 X²O Trofee Herentals.
Denise Betsema came in second place.
Annemarie Worst finished third.
Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado had a long run to the pits after breaking her chain early in the race, while Sanne Cant suffered chain issues.

Although there were huge time gaps, North Americans had a good showing, led by Canadian Maghalie Rochette finishing fifth, USA Cycling National Champ Clara Honsinger in eighth, and Maddie Munro in ninth, the top U23 racer on the day.
