The last time we stopped by Tabor in 2021, Lucinda Brand (Baloise Trek Lions) rode away with the victory. Unfortunately, she had broken her hand during the preride and had to skip Tabor.

Elite Women

With Brand out of the race, Fem van Empel (Pauwels Sauzen – Bingoal) went on to take her third-straight UCI Cyclocross World Cup. Will anyone be able to stop her in Maasmechelen?

Puck Pieterse (Alpecin-Deceuninck), in her return to UCI World Cup cyclocross racing, was right on van Empel’s heels and finished second.

Annemarie Worst (777) followed right behind Pieterse and podiumed.
