2022 UCI World Cup Val Di Sole winner, Puck Pieterse (Alpecin – Deceuninck) took first after a dominating start. She kept a strong lead through the first three laps and maintained a solo race to the finish.

2022 UCI World Cup Gavere winner Shirin van Anrooij (Baloise Trek Lions) chased Pieterse as best as she could. By lap three, she was the lone chaser with a 10-second gap behind Pieterse. The gap increased after the winds picked up as Anrooij finished in second place 30 seconds after Pieterse.

2022 Superprestige Heusden-Zolder winner, Ceylin Del Carmen Alvarado (Alpecin – Deceuninck) battled Inge Van Der Heijden (Team 777) for the podium spot. She followed teammate Pieterse early on, but then battled her Zolder nemesis Van der Heijden and eventually nudged out a small gap which gave her the spot on the podium.
