The lead-up to the 2022 UCI Cyclocross Worlds certainly hasn’t been the smoothest. The event has made headlines not by who will be racing but by who will be missing, with stars Mathieu van der Poel, Wout van Aert, Quinten Hermans, Annemarie Worst and Denise Betsema all missing the race.
Four-time trials world champ Kenny Belaey did his best to add a bit of star power to the event. Powered by Redbull and helicopter wings, Belaey grabbed his gravel bike and jumped out of a helicopter to preview the 2022 Fayetteville Worlds course and downtown Fayetteville.
