The Junior Women 11-12 was the fourth title race on Saturday at the 2021 USA Cyclocross National Championships.
There were heavy winds in the morning, which meant the title races were postponed and the industry race was canceled.
(1/3) #CXNats Update -So due to heavy winds we are looking at heavy damage to both the course and venue. Racing will now begin at 11am. Riders will have the opportunity to preride at 10:30.

The damage wasn’t severe, but it was enough to cause the title races to be postponed. The course and venues were both damaged.
Bummer @usacycling #cxnats We learned our lesson at Reno Nats. Last night we took all our @horstcycling stuff down and secured it. First race delayed to 10:30 A.M (at least). That’s all I’ve got for now. #cyclocross pic.twitter.com/l8jbokByVH

2021 USA Cyclocross National Championships Junior Women 11-12
Lilliana O’Donnell and Aine Chen were locked in a first-lap battle for Junior Women 11-12 supremacy.
O’Donnell came to Nationals with an impressive winning percentage, victorious in 8 of her 15 races, not just in Junior’s races but also Women’s Cat 3/4/5 races.
Lilliana O'Donnell, leading the Junior Women 11-12 #cxnats race, won more than half her races this season, racing Juniors and Women Cat 4 races.

Chen took the start knowing what was on the line. Chen’s sister Eire took gold in the same category in Louisville, and chases her racing parents. With little Southern California racing this season, Chen traveled to the Trek CX Cup and Northern California’s Surf City CX to get racing experience and start line points, and then raced with the A women in Socal before Nationals.
The two were racing back-and-forth until a hard run-up and slow dirty-side remount on Lap One set Chen back.
O’Donnell stretched out her lead over Chen on the final lap, while Anna Morozowich finished over two minutes back to claim third.
