What happens when you combine rain, mud, and stairs? Besancon that’s what. The course was made all the more tricky with melting snow that made for mud that was extra thick and slippery.
Even the best had trouble maneuvering through the mud, as fans saw on an epic final lap of the Elite Men’s race.
