In the final UCI race of the 2019/2020 season, Annemarie Worst (777) and Denise Betsema (Pauwels Sauzen-Bingoal) renewed their battle from Saturday’s GP Leuven, but this time, the tables were turned.
Worst took a victory over Betsema at the Internationale Sluitingsprijs Oostmalle, after a string of narrow defeats in finish-line sprints since Worlds.
American Corey Coogan Cisek (Triple C Racing) finished 37th.
Racing continues with the Rectavit Series’ nighttime Masters in Waregem on Wednesday.
