On the final weekend of European (and U.S.) cyclocross, Denise Betsema (Pauwels Sauzen-Bingoal) took her first win of the season and defended her Leuven title from last year.
The win is her first after returning from a six-month suspension.
2020 World Champion Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado (Alpecin Fenix) did not participate in the Rectavit GP Leuven after ending her season last weekend.
Her rival Annemarie Worst (777) could not take advantage due to a dominant ride by Betsema.
American Corey Coogan Cisek (Triple C Racing) finished 23rd.
