Kerry Werner (Kona Maxxis Shimano) took the first UCI pre-2022 UCI Cyclocross World Championships test event, distancing what was initially a large group of contenders early in the race.
Midway through the race Werner, teammates Gage Hecht and Lance Haidet (Donnelly Aevolo) and Curtis White (Cannondale p/b CyclocrossWorld) took control and made it a race of four before Werner escaped to take the win.

Notes: Logan Owen (Education First) returned to cyclocross after a long hiatus with hopes of winning and finished with a top ten result. Spencer Petrov returned to the JAM Fund team and UCI Cyclocross with a sixth place.
