On Thursday, Team USA got a chance to look at the muddy Valkenburg course for this weekend’s World Championships. More rain came overnight and into Friday, and when riders ventured out for the Friday pre-ride, they found even more mud.
Photographer Bart Hazen put on his boots and rain pants and headed to the venue for Friday afternoon’s course inspection. Get an idea of what riders are in for (mud) during the racing this weekend.
