After two successful years of hosting the Canadian Cyclocross National Championships, the Cyclocross Sherbrooke organization is hosting Quebec’s first-ever UCI racing weekend on October 20 and 21. Learn more about the event in this release.
The Cyclocross Sherbrooke organization will host the very first UCI cyclocross event ever held in Quebec province on October 20-21.
Presented on the same venue as 2016 and 2017 Canadian Cyclocross Nationals, the Sherbrooke UCI cyclocross will feature a technical course blended to a unique, Belgian-style party atmosphere.
CX Sherbrooke was named best cyclocross event of 2017 by Cycling Canada. The course, located on the waterfront of Sherbrooke’s Lac des Nations, features a great mix of everything cyclocross is about: deep ruts, steep run-ups, off-cambers, stairs, hills and descents plus many high-speed sections.
The event is partnered by local the Siboire microbrewery, which is preparing a new version of its unique Belgian IPA. La déraillée will be brewed by none other than cyclocross legend Tim Johnson!
All cyclists are also welcomed at the Siboire on Saturday night for a great night talking bikes surrounded by tasteful food and beer.
Registrations are open with early bird pricing until Sunday, September 16th. Enjoy pure racing on a world-class course and a party atmosphere that makes Sherbrooke cyclocross so unique!
