Friday’s Trek CX Cup was a bit of a homecoming for photographer Jeff Curtes. Curtes grew up in Wisconsin, but has been living in Australia for the past decade. He is back in the States and reunited with his brothers Joe and Mike, who both race locally in Wisconsin. On Friday morning, the three Curtes brothers got to compete for some brotherly bragging rights in the singlespeed race. (For the record, Joe took home the Fastest Curtes Brother crown).

Later in the afternoon—after cooling down—Jeff headed out to the C2 course with his camera to again capture his perspective on Friday’s racing action.
