GLOUCESTER, Mass—Tobin Ortenblad (Santa Cruz / Donkey Label) continued his dream season, winning his fourth UCI race in five starts at the Gran Prix of Gloucester Day 1.
Ortenblad survived the teamwork of Aspire’s Jeremy Powers and Spencer Petrov and unleashed his trademark powerful sprint up the final paved climb to secure the UCI C2 win.

Behind, Petrov and Powers would climb the final hill to finish second and third, respectively, and in doing so, showcase the smarts behind Powers’ adding the 18-year-old Petrov.

Curtis White (Cannondale p/b CyclocrossWorld) factored early before a flat tire sent him to the pits and off the lead.
