Alison Tetrick held off two-time winner (and defending champion) Amanda Nauman to win the 2017 Dirty Kanza 200 gravel race.
Tetrick, hailing from Petaluma, California, finished in a time of 11:41:40, a new course record.
Nauman closed on Tetrick throughout the race after she fell behind by more than 12 minutes. At the finish, the gap was just five seconds.
Tetrick used a Cannondale Slate, the same bike ridden by last year’s men’s winner, Ted King.
