In the Junior Men’s race at the 2017 Derby City Cup in Louisville, Ben Gomez Villafane (Top Club Cyclocross) kept the recent UCI Junior Men’s win within the two-man stranglehold of Lane Maher (Hot Tubes) and the Santa Cruz-based racer.
Gomez Villafane outsprinted hist best friend Alex Morton (Cannondale p/b CyclocrossWorld Devo) for the win.
Maher, winner of both days in Cincinnati and four UCI Junior Men’s rces in a row, did not finish.
