2016-2017 UCI Cyclocross Calendar – World Cup, C1, C2, & National & World Championships

The 2016/2017 UCI Cyclo-cross Calendar has been released, and 182 race days are on tap for the 2016/2017 season.

Two U.S. World Cups are on tap with the return of the CrossVegas World Cup and addition of the Jingle Cross World Cup in Iowa City, Iowa.

Also on the schedule is the 2016 UCI Masters Cyclocross World Championships in December, as the event returns to its previous home in Mol, Belgium. Turns out the 2016 event that was briefly scheduled for this January in San Jose is not cancelled, but moved back to a Masters-friendly December date in a European-friendly location.

Notes:

• Providence appears to be missing from the UCI’s calendar and is scheduled to be 9/30-10/2, two weeks prior to Gloucester.
• The Jingle Cross World Cup date is confirmed and is currently three days of UCI racing with the World Cup race on Saturday.
• This is the second time the UCI has “saved” the Masters Cyclocross Championships through a Mol, Belgium-based event. After announcing the 2010 event was cancelled, it later reversed the decision and an event in Mol was held.
