Katie Compton (Trek Factory Racing) doubled up with victories in Colorado, following up her U.S. Open of Cyclocross win with a victory at the 2014 Boulder Cup at Valmont and setting the state for fellow National Champion Jeremy Powers to do the same.
Behind, Meredith Miller (Noosa), the surprised winner of the 2014 CrossVegas race, bounced back after going over the bars in the sand at the U.S. Open of Cyclocross, and ended Sunday with a strong performance to outkick Georgia Gould (Luna) for second. Caroline Mani (Raleigh/Clement) finished fourth. Helen Wyman (Kona), one of the top-ranked women in the world, finished in ninth.
