KIRKLAND, WA – Revel Consulting (www.revelconsulting.com), a Kirkland, Washington based business management consulting firm, today announced its sponsorship of Rad Racing Northwest (NW), a premier junior cycling team. Beginning 2011 the team will officially be known as Revel Consulting/Rad Racing NW.
Through the sponsorship, Revel will help support Rad Racing’s training and racing programs for youth from across the Puget Sound area. In addition to financial support, Revel will also donate consulting services to help the organization run more efficiently and reach a wider audience. Revel’s Managing Partner Brett Alston will also join the board of directors for Rad Racing to provide executive level resources and insight.
“Revel is proud to support Rad Racing NW as they help young people achieve their own personal goals in life and in competition,” said Alston. “Through our Sustainable Giving program, we also saw a great opportunity for our associates to contribute with hands on help to make Rad Racing’s operations as streamlined as their racers.”
Revel Consulting/Rad Racing NW’s mission is to teach young people life lessons through the sport of cycling, and to develop top-level regional, national and international junior cyclists. Revel/Rad team members train for and compete in cyclocross, road, track, and mountain bike races. Revel’s sponsorship will help Rad Racing NW to provide travel support to regional, national and international competitions, as well as “Revel/Rad Scholarships,” which fund items such as equipment, clothing, and competition entry fees for young racers.
