“Each one is better than the last.”

We here at Cyclocross Magazine are excited to be bringing you our annual Nationals reflections and winner profiles in our Issue 12, now mailing. As we have done previously, this issue will spend some time with every winner, but this year we thought we’d take it a bit further here online and extend these profiles with a pile of video interviews we’ve been holding onto and give you a chance to learn more about the Stars and Stripes winners and their moments of glory.

With that in mind, we ask you to join us as we take some off-season time to celebrate our 2010 USAC cyclocross national champions in these post-race interviews, where we get to relive the high of victory through their eyes. Every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, we’ll be unveiling a new interview or two, covering everyone from the youngest grom to the most experienced Masters racer. Missed one? Check them all out on our Nationals Interview Page.

Today we bring you Women’s 70+ National Champion Julie Lockhart. Though Lockhart rode uncontested, this is far from her first win: I count 18 [National Titles] over all disciplines,” she told Cyclocross Magazine. “I did Pan-Am Masters Championships in Cuba and got three Road golds, two Track golds and three silvers.”
