If you could design your dream cyclocross course, what would it be? What would it include?
KHS Bikes and Cyclocross Magazine want to hear about your dream cyclocross course. Include your favorite elements: a circle of death, muddy run ups, flyovers, or even water crossings.
What is in it for you? The grand prize winner will receive a brand new KHS CX300 Cyclocross Bike for the best design while our second and third best designers will be awarded a one-year digital subscription to Cyclocross Magazine.
We will take your course designs any way you want to send them to us. Here are some examples of how you can submit your course design:
- Just write about it
- Draw up a map, and send us a pic
- Build a 3d model
- Create a 3D fly-over on Google Earth
- Create a video while riding your “mock course” in your local park
- Heck, scribble it on a napkin and send that in.
- Use a 3D printer and create a model mail the whole thing in.
Have another way you would like to submit your design? Drop us an email with your idea, it’s probably fine.
Email your course design to contests [*at*] cxmagazine.com (include “KHS Course Design Contest” in the subject line) or send it to us via DropBox (include your contact information in the file). A panel of judges will decide the winner of the contest based on the best course design. This panel will be comprised of staff from KHS, Cyclocross Magazine, and a few legendary cyclocross promoters.
Lastly, your submissions cannot be previously published or published before we announce the winner. This includes posting on blogs, social media, or YouTube (several entries were disqualified last year because they were previously published).
