Cyclocross Magazine’s contributing writer Ryan Kelly talks to some of the top riders including Tim Johnson, Jamey Driscoll, and Luke and Nick Keough at Gloucester. In the video below, he gets their thoughts on everything from double-booking UCI races, weapon fantasies, where the craziest fans are found, and whether he can fund his young journalism career by getting paid to take out tall riders on orange bikes.

Riders are misinformed.
The conflict was because of races scheduled the weekend previous that have been cancelled two years in a row. They take up slots, cancel, and the we a weekend with no UCI races followed by a weekend with 5.
The C1 denial was based on the no conflicting with a World Cup rule. There was no World Cup that weekend, so it would have been possible to be C1.
There is no Czechoslovakia.
You should never wear a baseball hat and glasses at the same time. You should DEFINITELY not wear two pairs of glasses and a hat at the same time.
When Ryan asked about crazy ‘cross fans, Tim reminisced about Robbie Dapice. Here he is 10 years ago, with his flipper and a beer hat, chasing after Kathy:
