Katie Compton, after her sixth place at the Bromont World Cup Last weekend, is shooting for a rainbow jersey at the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in Australia after several near-misses in cyclocross. But in her attempt to bring home the rainbow stripes for the U.S., the decorated ‘cross racer is depending on fan support to help her afford the trip. Press release below:

Katie Compton is still without a team or sponsor. With four World Cup wins and five consecutive U.S. National Championships to her palmares, Katie is without a sponsor for the cyclocross season. This weekend Katie had an amazing come from the last position to a sixth place finish at the recent Bromont MTB World Cup race. After studying the Australian course, Katie is motivated to give Worlds her best shot.
