Love racing with just one gear? In New England, now you can test your mettle with the season-long Zanconato SSCX Series. The Zanconato series was born three years ago at the Ice Weasels Cometh, which always has a huge SSCX race. It is always one of the most fun races of the year and brings year long bragging rights to the victor!
Mike Zanconato and Jerry Chabot thought, “Why not start a series that brought the same fun and level of competition all season long?” Thus, the Zanconato Singlespeed CX series was born
The last two years the series has grown in numbers and popularity, and now they’ve announced ENGVT (the company that sponsored Jonathan Page for Nationals and Worlds) as presenting sponsor and to add two of the most prestigious cyclocross races in New England to our series calendar.
Jerry Chabot captures our feelings about being a part of the Providence Cross Festival and Holy Week, “Our team has always appreciated the competition of SSCX, and were thrilled to see the series legitimized by the inclusion of the Providence venue. The Roger Williams course is perhaps our favorite course of the season and its going to be incredible to bring a hard, fast, exciting SSCX race to that venue. ENGVT is proud to be associated with the premier single speed series at one of the premier venues on the East Coast.”

- 10/4-Providence Cross Festival
- 10/12-Mansfield Hollow
- 10/13-MRC CX
- 11/17-Cheshire
- 11/23-New England Regional Championships
- 12/14-Ice Weasels
